New Year Orientation

JULY 28, 2023

We are excited to welcome families for a New Year Orientation on July 28, 2023.  This will be an opportunity to meet your child's homeroom teacher, learn about curriculum, join the Shallowford Falls PTA and Foundation, register for After School Program, prepay for lunches, and learn about FAST Clubs. Each grade level will have an individual time to provide a more personalized experience and reduce stress with parking and crowds.

We respectfully ask that you make childcare arrangements for your children in other grade levels or not currently attending Shallowford Falls.

2ND GRADE:

8:00-8:30AM - Meet and Greet

(Students and parents visit the classroom and meet the teacher)

8:30-9:15AM - Parent-Only Orientation

(Staff members will pick students up from classroom to be supervised in another location. Staff will return with students to hallway outside of classroom 3 minutes prior to session end time)

3RD GRADE:

9:45-10:15AM - Meet and Greet

(Students and parents visit the classroom and meet the teacher)

10:15-11:00AM - Parent-Only Orientation

(Staff members will pick students up from classroom to be supervised in another location. Staff will return with students to hallway outside of classroom 3 minutes prior to session end time)

KINDERGARTEN

11:15-11:45AM - Meet and Greet

(Students and parents visit the classroom and meet the teacher)

Kindergarten Parent Meeting will be Thursday, 7/27/23 at 5:30PM

Please make arrangements for childcare for your children for this meeting.

1ST GRADE

12:00-12:30PM - Meet and Greet

(Students and parents visit the classroom and meet the teacher)

12:30-1:15PM - Parent-Only Orientation

4TH GRADE

1:45-2:15PM - Meet and Greet

(Students and parents visit the classroom and meet the teacher)

2:15-3:00PM - Parent-Only Orientation

4TH/5TH GRADE ADVANCE CONTENT 

3:00-3:45PM - Parent-Only Orientation

3:30-4:00PM - Meet and Greet
